"Emergency Sigmoid Colectomy"

I was referred by my GP as a matter of urgency and from the minute I was put in the care of the surgeon and the team of nurses on Ward 21 I felt nothing but cared for. The surgeon is a brilliant surgeon with a very caring disposition, never once made me feel like an inconvenience or that they didn't have time for me. Their explanation of the procedure and future treatment was extremely thorough and supported by a team of specialist nurses I was left with no questions. The team of nurses on Ward 21 are extremely dedicated, I felt cared for and extremely safe every minute of my stay there. They are extremely under-rated and deserve the highest praise.
