"Impressive"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

My husband was very recently a patient on ward F3 for 8 days, having been admitted via A&E. We were both very impressed by the care he received there from all the staff: cleaners, the people delivering meals etc, nurses, support staff, ward clerks, pharmacists and doctors. Hope I haven't left anyone out! Everyone we came in contact with was professional, caring, kind and friendly. And all other patients we spoke to said the same. We were treated with respect and a friendly face every day. Also the food was good. Thanks to everyone for making our nightmare situation more bearable.

We were especially pleased that you found all of our staff to be professional, caring kind and friendly and that you were treated with respect. We were pleased that our staff were able to support your family at this difficult time. It is always good to receive feedback which highlights the dedication and empathy of our staff. It was good to know that you were happy with the food provisions provided during your Husbands stay. We will ensure that your kind comment is passed on to the Deputy Head of Nursing so that it can be shared with the wider teams in Accident and Emergency and on Ward F3.
