I have just had a major operation due to breast cancer and I had to have a mastectomy and reconstruction at the same time.

Staff were kind and caring and went beyond what anyone could ask.

My care was always their first priority and everyone played such an important part in my healing process.

So many times the news and media are quick to write and highlight the bad things about our local hospitals but all I can say is that Broomfield Hospital and Stock Ward were kind and caring people who without their commitment and dedication would not have made (not just my care) life more bearable at such a difficult time.

Nurses, doctors and the team as a whole worked together and I thank every member of staff who made my stay comfortable.

Thank you isn't enough.
