I went for my termination on sat 8th oct reception staff were kind and professional and apologised for the presence of protesters once I'd checked in the wait was about 1.5hrs I felt terrible that I declined contraception as I'd arranged this via my own gp as I felt more comfortable once I was taken upstairs I could hear one young lady crying and she was totally ignored I just wanted to hug her I felt so sad for her once I went into the changing room and waited for the dreaded door to theatre to open I was rushed in and it was all very fast I woke up and was given a drink the nurse was not caring or efficient at all just downright rude I was asked inside 15min to pass water and dress I had to ask for my after care notes and antibiotics the pain I felt once I got home was horrific I debated to call a ambulance it was that bad but I had good pain relief to hand today the bleeding suddenly came and I passed the remaining parts of the pregnancy I went into complete shock hours later I'm still shaking I now have a appointment at my gp to ensure all is well as I'm now so scared of other problems I was treated without care or compassion I think the staff are very immiune to the situation and forget for some women this is the hardest choice they will ever make and need a little reassurance and care during the time there
"A awful experience"
