"Dermatology appointment cancelled"

About: Corbett Hospital / Dermatology

So today on the 8th of October I made a lengthy journey in awful morning traffic to get to my appointment with the dermatologist at Corbetts hospital for a 9:30 appointment.

When arriving I waited to speak to someone to make sure I was in the right building because I wasn't sure where I needed to go to...

I was told my appointment had been cancelled and changed to the 10th of November.

When I asked why they explained that my GP must have changed it...

however after several phone calls and a visit to the GP surgery they advised that they would not have looked at that referral itself let alone changed it, without a phone call from myself to do so, and that they had no record of anyone in the surgery changing that appointment at all.

So not only was I lied to by the hospital, but a days pay at work was lost as my shift had to be covered to make the original appointment and i wasted journey.

And after waiting 8 weeks for a referral to be told I had to wait another month and a day extra on top of that as well as it being an appointment I never asked for and cannot make as I will be at work, it's a bit ridiculous really.

Not happy with the service at all
