Sarah D( STaff ) has helped me loads since coming onto Brecon she is a gem. John S is ok as well.

 

All the way round, the directors ,staff are short on the shop floor. Some patients at Rampton are not getting the rehabilitation therapy activities and we are bored and getting low stim and people are getting into trouble. People are relapsing and going on the intensive care ward. To reply back I have put my issues across to other internal affairs to my MP for Bernskey Central and also to the Minister Obusman.

Many thanks for your feedback. It is assuring to hear that you feel supported by staff within your ward area.

Within the PD Service we hold morning staffing meetings to look at the clinical need on wards and the reallocation of resource to ensure that needs are met. We also incorporate an activities meeting whereby we look at planned activties and ensuring that they can be facilitated. There are reporting systems in place to minimise the risk of activities being cancelled. There are additional activities that do sometimes impact on resources across the directorate such as external hospital appointments. Unfortunately at times these cannot be preplanned and they may effect activties. However, as a directorate we will regularily review the reports and provide an exception report detailing why the activity could not be achieved. We welcome feedback as this helps us know what we are doing well and what areas we need to imppove.
