"A and E visit 21/9/17"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) / Accident and emergency

When you have a visit from a 65 year old man complaining of dizziness, overheating, numbness and vague chest pain you have to make a decision to admit him immediately for a suspected stroke or calculate that its indigestion, dehydration etc. You got it right and a period of 'chair rest' or 'waiting room therapy' worked its magic......

However the treatment I received was superb. I work as a legal aid lawyer and am used to dealing with difficult people under pressure, you folks are experts at it. The Receptionist was calm and confident , the triage nurse reassuring and the nursing staff who measured and sampled, dazzlingly efficent. When the Dr assured me all was well and i asked what i should do if those symptoms recurred, I was told - "You can always come back". I hope not to but I will be confident if I do so.

The bad news was that it took ages - thats because the Government wont pay enough, not the fault of your staff, it would be impossible to work harder - I hope you have the pleasure of treating Jeremy Hunt soon.......
