"The stroke ward"

About: Borders General Hospital / Stroke Unit

(as a service user),

At the age of 31 I had a stroke and spent a few months recovering in the stoke ward at borders general hospital and can assure that the care I was given played a major part of my overall recovery as at time it happened I struggled to walk, talk and do anything for myself. 2 years later I'm back to driving a manual/normal car walking talking and able to do everything I could before my stoke. I will always be grateful to the staff/doctors/nurses/speech therapist/physio everyone down to the domestic cleaners were absolutely spectacular

Dear Tevi

Thank you for taking the time to feedback to the staff and the ward about the care you received at the time. It is always good to hear how our patients have improved since their stroke. I will share your feedback with the staff on the Stroke Unit.

Regards,

Fiona
