"Total knee replacement Left Knee"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary / General surgery

Knee replaced January 2017 after three attempts to make previous appointments, two cancelled by hospital, one my fault head cold.

Stay in hospital first class consultant surgeon, helpful explained procedure no problems encountered epidural for operation so never felt a thing till after. Pain relief after given in good time nurses and the sister really helpful and knowledgeable so all in all three days passed quickly, six weeks after operation back to driving now waiting for the other knee 23 weeks and counting since consultation late April 2017.

It is encouraging to read that when you received your surgery, your experience was positive and the staff were very helpful and supportive.

However, I am sorry to read that you have been waiting for sometime now to receive a further appointment.
