I was in the day surgery unit recently having one of my wisdom tooth removed. I was a bit apprehensive as I had never been under general anaesthetic before but I have to say all of the nurses were excellent. The consultant and surgeon were all very clear and reassuring. After being in the waiting room I went into the prep room with 3 nurses before I was given the anaesthetic and they were all excellent. I just wanted to say thank you to all those that were in the day surgery unit this week everyone I encountered or spoke to were very professional and more importantly friendly making me feel at ease.

Thank you for taking time to feedback about your recent visit to the day surgery unit, its quite normal to feel apprehensive and im glad to see that you were put at ease by the nursing staff and that the consultant, your comments are very much appreciated by all the staff and also are helpful for patients in the future.
