"son in RTA"

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital / Accident and emergency

Its a shame I can't thank them personally but would like to thank the

5 ambulance people (yep 5) & 2 police that attended Michaels accident , add to that the

9 staff in attendance in A& E area

The 6 he saw downstairs in the childrens A&E area

the 3 that dealt with the mri scanner

The 2 in xray

the 3 porters that ferried him to & fro

The 2 from the surgical team he saw last night prior to being placed on a ward

the 6 Nurses on the ward upstairs at the alex

and then the

3 specialist in attendance today prior to sending home.

41 specialised staff over a near 24 hours.

while the Royal Sussex comes under fire often on the news I cant fault anything or anyone throughout the process of Michaels care.

Many thanks to all of you & those that I missed or worked behind the scene to keep these places running all hours of the day.

Thank you, very much, for your kind and thoughtful feedback about the care of your son, Michael, at our hospital.

I was so sorry to learn of his accident and am pleased that he is now at home recovering.

I will, of course, share your very kind words with the teams involved and thank you again for taking the time to write to us

with best wishes
