"Hysteroscopy"

I attended Heartlands Hospital today for an outpatient hysteroscopy. I have to say that I was terrified after doing my own research.

I feel compelled to write as I had an extremely positive experience and I cannot fault it. The waiting room was relaxing and I was called in bang on time. The consultant was lovely and the nursing staff really put me at ease. The procedure was made to be as dignified as possible. Also, importantly, I felt no pain whatsoever and it was over very quickly. Sometimes people only recall bad experiences, but I feel I must share this for anyone else worried as it is sometimes difficult to find a record of all the good experiences. It was absolutely fine and the whole thing ran like clockwork, including all my items being placed on another room for me to get dressed.. Thank you to the staff at the outpatient Gynecology clinic at Heartlands.
