Yesterday I went to the Brighton and Sussex University hospital for a colonoscopy, following a meeting with a Senior nurse last Thursday.
I was absolutely petrified!
There was a possibility that I could have cancer and my fears were helped by the amazing approach from all of the staff I met on both occasions.
Even the builders in the lift last Thursday offered me help to find my way to the right department and back to the main road afterwards.
The actual procedure could not have been any better anywhere, we have experienced private medical treatment in the past and some of the care and attention was better than we have received there.
The receptionist, the nursing staff, the doctor and all of the staff were so helpful and caring.
I could not have had better treatment anywhere. I was surprised how they even showed caring for my son who accompanied me, explaining where the cafe was etc.
Thank you all, you have helped me so much and I feel very relieved that it is over - I even had a happy ending to the day!! 10 out of 10 for everyone.
