"A big thank you to the Endoscopy Dept."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Attended last week for a Gastroscopy in Section 11.

I was extremely nervous at having something put down my throat, and had worked myself up to a frenzy.

However the staff in the department were wonderful.

Everything was explained fully and they tried to keep me as calm as possible.

I knew exactly what was happening next, and the team put me at ease.

Special thanks to the person who was with me whilst the procedure was done.

City hospitals should be really proud of this team.

Sincere thanks again.

Thank you for your feedback. It can be very nerve racking having a procedure such as this and the team will always try their best to make you as comfortable as possible. We are very proud of all of our team and really appreciate it when we get such kind words from patients.
