Thankyou for taking the time to post on the website - you are right, there are changes within the PD pathway at Rampton. The Peaks and E block wards have now officially merged with 1 x General Manager, Modern Matron and 2 x Deputy Matrons as from October 1st. Discussions have been had already to ensure that Chiltern will continue to be available for the patients in the PD Pathway as this is recognised as a valuable resource in patients opportunities to socialise with their peers.

This can be discussed at the PD Involvement meetings to keep everybody updated with progress.

I am pleased to hear that you are open to working with new staff and we also look forward to working with all patients across the pathway.

Best wishes

Sue Baker
OT Manager

Thank you for your comments. As of October 1st 2017 the two Personality Disorder Wards and Peaks Wards joined together as one service. The Personality Disorder Service now has a total of 8 wards. There are planned sessions to discuss with patients the changes and what opportunities there will be as a result. Your feedback is valued and it would be fantastic if you could comment again once the new programme is embedded.

Evans and Eden wards breaking away managerially from Women's Services and merge with the Peaks Service is the best use of resources and clinical expertise for men with personality disorder. the clinical teams and nurisng staff have moved with the patients thereby ensuring a smooth transition. I am confident that patients will have an improved experience and faster recovery. All the very best wishes to each one of you
