The staff team on duty on the day of my hernia operation were a credit to the hospital.I was treated with courtesy and respect throughout my time in the department and kept informed of what was happening at each stage of the procedure .The preoperative information allowed me to feel less isolated and anxious and the care I received whilst in recovery can only be described as superb. My thanks to all concerned.
