I arrived early. They took my letter.
I was seen quite quickly, the nurse (they were wearing green) did not introduce themselves.
All it takes is... "hello my name is..."
They suggested I should have taken some kind of test result from my optician. "It was on the letter". I'm afraid I don't think it was. They let me know that I wouldn't be seeing a doctor... which I was uncertain about. And that they would look at the test results in isolation. I then had three tests - photo of the back of my eyes, pressure test and peripheral vision test. I asked what paperwork they needed from my optician. They said the 'peripheral vision' test. I let the nurse know that this had been given at the previous visit and that that clinic was the last place I had a test. The reply "they didn't put it on the computer".
So I'm left not knowing what this team have or haven't got on my health care record. I feel rather deflated and confused. I noted some of my own results down at the previous test... I wonder if I should have to ask for results and keep them for them in future.
