"Why do doctors and nurses no longer have..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

What could be improved

Why do doctors and nurses no longer have to wear ID/name badges? My relative has has a notice with his named nurse at the bottom of his bed, the nurse had to be pointed out to me after I asked which one she was. There was one nurse wearing ID out of about 6 on the ward.

Thank you for taking the time to inform us about the problems you had in identifying named staff. To enable us to respond we would need a little more information from you. We would be grateful if you would contact the Patient Advice and Liaison service on 0161 627 8678 who will listen to your concerns and investigate the matter further.
