About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans) Woodend Hospital / Elective Orthopaedics

(as a parent/guardian),

We were absolutely delighted with the care, compassion and professionalism our son received at Ward 10 Orthopaedics Woodend Hospital, Mr Bidwell, his Medical Secretary, all the nursing and domestic staff following the removal of a large cyst and bone graft to his foot.

We also needed to call NHS24 for advice as my son’s wound bled through the bandages which he was meant to keep on for 2 weeks and they promptly advised taking him to A&E at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where it was cleaned and redressed. Katie the Staff Nurse he saw was top class and everything you would wish for in a nurse. Also thanks to the x-ray staff who picked up the problem with his foot originally when he was in for something else and organised for an MRI.
