What I liked

I have tried for weeks to book an appointment at the pain clinic. No one ever picks up the phone, the answerphone is left on all the time so whats the point of giving a phone number to make an appointment when you cannot contact them. And why dont they use the online appointment booking service??

What could be improved

Get someone to answer the phone and start moving into the 21st century and start using the choose and book service. Many people today work long hours and do not have the time to waste a day phoning a number over 50 times to get an answerphone evry time. I find this sort of service very poor and reminds me of everything that is bad about the NHS. Try getting your staff to answer a phone call every now and then would be a start

Solent Healthcare is sorry to hear this gentleman had difficulty contacting the pain clinic. However upon investigation this appears to have been a problem with the Choose & Book national call line telephone. We will ask them to look into it.
