"They helped make a horrible situation that bit easier."

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

In September 2017 during our first pregnancy we sadly experienced a miscarriage. We were devastated by this. However all the staff in a&e, maternity assessment and epas area at Crosshouse gave us so much practical and emotional support.

Following being discharged they offered us to return if we needed any more emotional supprt or felt things were not quite right. They helped make a horrible situation that bit easier.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Srls1412,

I am sorry, it can be such a hard thing to cope with, but I am so glad you found all the support and help that you did. I will pass this to the teams you mentioned, I know they will appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.

I hope you are well,

Best wishes

Eunice
