"I had to bring my 7 year old daughter..."

About: Honiton Hospital

What I liked

I had to bring my 7 year old daughter Lauren in late at night at the end of a camping trip. I had two other very tired and very frightened children with me, Lauren had a very nasty cut to her leg that eventually needed 8 stitches. My experience of hospitals and children normally involves a lot of waiting and I was prepared to be there half the night. Well we went straight in, were seen immediately by two lovely nurses (sorry if I've got your rank wrong!) They were calming, and reassuring not just to Lauren but to her 5 yr old brother and 9 yr old sister and involved them and talked to them. They kept me busy and made me feel useful and did a wonderful embroidery job on Laurens leg! We were in and out in probably less than an hour, sent away with medicine, stickers for everyone (althought I didn't get one!) and the leg seems to be healing well. Thank you thank you thank you

What could be improved

You could move your hospital to North Surrey where I live!

Anything else?

Just thanks again, reassurance at a horribly stressful time
