"Birth of my son"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Maternity

I gave birth to my son on the 26th September and the midwives and consultants were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely compassionate, caring and supportive throughout my labour.

I would like to thank two midwives in particular who took excellent care of me, they were truly wonderful and I am extremely appreciative of everything they did for me, my husband and my son.

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your son. Hope you and baby are doing well. I really pleased to hear that you had a positive experience on our maternity ward.
