"A5 nursing and general care team are a credit..."

After being on A5 for some time it gave me a great insight to the hard work and dedication that the nurses take and the care assistance right up to the cleaning staff. They were all such hard workers really showed an interest in the welfare of their patients but further more the ward was spotless. I was very impressed with the going above and beyond in the care of their patients and the speacial care that was given to some of the elderly patients who at times were sadly very confused about where and what was happening but the staff showed great patience in calming down the situation. I was also very impressed that no matter how busy the nurses were they always found time to have a little banter and fun with the patients it really is the best medicine. I wanted to thank two Staff nurses who in my opinion went well above and beyond in their care of patients and even though things were done in fun it really did keep your spirits up when you were hurting,they were exceptional in their commitment in spending a little extra time to an elderly patient who didn't have many visitors, so the nurses came and spent a bit extra time with the patient instead and the banter between the nurses and the patient kept everyone laughing, they were without doubt a double act. As for the care assistants well they were all great and all deserve a special thank you because they were so important to how the ward ran. To be honest there is many more nurses that were exceptional it's hard to name them all. But if all the wards and departments worked as well as A5 then Warrington hospital would be the best in the area.
