"Heartlands have wonderful staff"

I had never been ill in my life. Was being sick a lot waking up to go to toilet a lot. First thought was I'm pregnant. I wasn't pregnant. I started to get pain in my right side which I ignored for months. I don't go to GP unless I have to.

The pain got worst I kept feeling dizzy at work that's what made me go to GP. He said its Gallstones gave me antibiotics. The pain got worst so I was sent for a scan. The scan showed a large cyst on my left ovary and one of my kidneys didn't function.

I was referred to Heartlands to the Urological team. I had many tests before I knew what was actually wrong with my kidney. All tests were done. I saw 2 consultants who both said your kidney is working at 23% 👎 its best to remove the kidndey.

Neither done keyhole surgary.  I had a appointment with Mr Ibrahim. He was so nice to me, I was very scared and he reassured me, took time to listen to me freak out! Didn't rush me out the door like my GP did. He was willing to book me in for surgery that day. He done keyhole surgery. 👍

I was having my ovary removed at The Priory  so had to wait recovery time to fix my kidney. My experience at the Priory was not what I expected. I feel the staff were so rude an horrible towards me, doctors not much better. I would have much rathered going to heartlands to have my ovary removed than the priory.

I really wanted to leave the day after open surgery. Heartlands wow Mr Ibramin and his team were all so nice. I understand why the team think he his a lovely caring man. I was probably his worst nightmare patient I hate needles and he always sent me for nuclear scan. For my benifit always.

He always done what was right for me. My opinion is a great surgeon has time and gives time to their patients not many do. I really don't like reading about how bad heartlands is. Go to the Priory if you dont like Heartlands. I am often am at heartlands with my youngest Daugher she is a sicky child. She has had fantastic care everytime in badger and she was admitted once to childrens ward.

We arrived to a team of Doctors what more can you ask for. Heartlands staff always do their very best. 👍 You may have to wait but most serious have to come first.
