"Visit to Rapid Access Skin Clinic"

Following a visit to my GP I was referred to the Rapid Access Skin Clinic, and received an appointment within 8 days - very impressive.

I arrived at the clinic for a 9:00am appointment , and was seen on time.

The doctor was very impressive, introduced everyone in the room, explained everything that I needed to know and made sure I had no unanswered questions at the end of the examination.

It was decided to carry out a biopsy test, and to save me the bother of another visit I was asked if I minded waiting so it could be carried out there and then.

After a reasonable wait I was called in to have the biopsy carried out.

One member of staff was outstanding.

They explained every move they made, and constantly checked that I was feeling OK.

I have to say I never felt any discomfort during the entire procedure and they explained carefully what the aftercare should be and when I should see a Practise Nurse to have the stitches removed. The whole experience could not have been any better.
