"gynacologist review"

About: Newham General Hospital / Gynaecology

gyni consultant - well .... this is not good I am afraid. I was recently told that I had fibroids. The first time I had access the hospital in pain .... grrr ..

I wasn't the best patient but the staff minus one was very nice and supportive to me of which I wrote a review.

I was then given a 4 month appointment to see the gynaecologist .... well .... how can I say this ..... upon entering the first suggestion made was well we can just take out your uterus all at the same time ..... hold fire .... did anyone ask me if I wanted my uterus out ... no ... then the nurse stated well, I'm near menopause age so it doesn't have any real use anymore .... excuse me ....

At this point with fingers spread I made it clear to both of them that the uterus stays ..... what my disappointment is that when I asked about alternative treatments to surgery , I was told there is none ... but that is not true which researched has shown me, I was also surprised no one talked about the imbalance in my PH levels why I am producing so much acid which is a contributor to the fibroid and so to look at diet. it seemed to quick an option to want to take out my uterus when they are less abrasive methods. I know people think the NHS is free, but as far as I know I pay for this through my taxes and contributed over 20 years so why am I getting the bottom end of the service... really not impressed and I wont be having surgery ....
