I have recently spent 13 days in the RUH, in five different wards, following a heart attack.
I can say without hesitation ythat in every ward and in every way my treatment was of the highest quality; staff at all levels were unfailingly friendly, courteous and efficient, and while there was inevitably a good deal of waiting around for various treatments and doctors' visits I never felt that I had been forgotten, and certainly was never in any sense neglected.
Cleanliness was good, and the food - so important as a morale-booster as well as its more important function - was always good and often very good.
I would never choos to spend time in any hospital, but I am honestly very glad gthat I had my attack while at home in Bath and tyhat I had to come to the RUH.
A warm thank you to all concerned!
"Thank you to all staff"
