"Excellent Care in MIU"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as the patient),

I attended the Victoria Hospital Minor Injury Unit with multiple injuries after a fall during a cycling race. The staff in the department were fantastic, from the receptionist to the healthcare assistants, everyone was kind and friendly. The good humour of the team made an experience that could have been an ordeal significantly easier. The department, while busy, managed to make me feel like an individual patient and not just another number in their list for the day and I can't commend them enough for that.

I had to re-attend the unit a couple of weeks after the fall and, again, received prompt and proper care.

Excellent team of nurses and auxiliary staff in the Unit.

Dear Kratix

I am sorry to hear about your accident and I hope that you are recovering well.

I am pleased to read that all the staff in the Minor Injuries were fantastic and that they treated you as an individual. This is the type of care that we aim to provide to all our patients.

I will make sure that we share your post with the staff in the Minor Injuries Unit. It is always good to share positive feedback with the staff.

Best wishes

Nicole
