"mothers care and end of life treatment"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Gynaecology

My ninety four year old Mother was transferred to ward C23 after being diagnosed with an inoperable perforated bowel. She was treated with the upmost dignity and consideration, she commented on how lovely all the staff were.

She sadly passed away but her final hours were pain free and peaceful which the family are very grateful for.

Many thanks

John rattigan and family.

Hi John and family,

Thank you so much for providing feedback on your mother’s experience at University Hospital.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss however, I was hearten to hear how she was treated with the ‘upmost dignity and consideration’ during her final hours.

I will pass your comments onto the teams who directly treated your mother who I’m sure will be as pleased as me to hear your feedback as we aim to treat all our patients with Compassion and Respect.

The Trust is grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients.

Thank you for leaving your comments on NHS Choices.
