What could be improved

Upon arriving I was very nervous about my op. I was greeted by cold, arrogant ,unhelpful reception staff, whom were more interested in my credit card than me ! All very pompous and patronising! Far to busy and important to smile or talk ! I had to wait over half an hour to be collected , then the music they were playing on reception was so morbid and morose that I nearly left ! I also found the bathroom was dirty and no-one explained anything to me about my stay !! The final straw was when my visitor was only allowed to use a half empty vending machine to find food or drink for herself ! Upon leaving I had to wait at reception for 20 minutes just to hand in a discharge form, only to be ignored again !! Then a week later I was rudely disturbed out of bed by some silly phone call asking what I thought of the service at Spire Harpenden; I did express my thoughts and complaints, only to be told I was dealing with the reception staff again ! Whom I knew did not care anyway !

That is the first and last time I will visit there !
