"Two visits to A&E"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Accident and emergency

After two visits to A&E where staff didn't look like they knew what health and exercise was, my son was fobbed off with a piece of tubi grip and ibruprofen ....he knew what was wrong with his leg, being a triathlete he knew he had a stress fracture! However, following an expensive visit to a private physio where he had an ultrasound that diagnosed the fracture and was given a letter to confirm this to take back to A&E....they didn't listen and sent him away with no treatment! They didn't even offer crutches...he had to ask for a pair. A boot would have been helpful...but he wasn't listened too, his physio letter carried no weight and I am appalled with this level of service.
