"Sunday morning in Chorley Hospital"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

Arrived approx. 10:15am Sunday 24/09/2017 with extreme foot pain. Hospital was extremely well looked after and very clean.

I was attended to by a triage nurse within half an hour of arrival who was very helpful, well mannered and professional.

From there I was referred to A&E with a view to the suitability of having an X-Ray.

I was then seen by an extremely helpful, polite and very professional nurse who sent me for an X-Ray.

The X-Ray team were also excellent and professional in their approach.

Back to the nurse in A&E who confirmed there was no fracture in my foot and that it was likely I had tendinitis.

I was prescribed some strong pain killers extremely quickly and efficiently and given a set of crutches with advice relating to which medication would be best to take and how to rest the injury.

All in all I was in and out of the hospital within approx. 2 hours.

Excellent staff, well mannered, extremely efficient and very professional and certainly a credit to the profession! Thank-you to everyone who helped me.

Tendonitis is very painful; no wonder a fracture was suspected.

Thank you for sharing this with us, it makes us proud to work for this organisation and the teams will be very touched to read it.
