"Thank you for putting me on the right path"

I was referred by Raigmore hospital to visit Mairi, to talk about cholesterol problems etc. On my visit she explained things more clearly to me than what a doctor or nurse could. I learned more about what foods to avoid & what food to eat to bring cholesterol down. I learned more about eating oily fish twice a week, which is very good for you. I also know now not to avoid lunch, & always have my lunch now which helps me to be healthier & more energetic. I was on beta blockers for my heart which put weight on me quite rapidly. Now I'm off them, I feel so much more in control, as they made me tired all the time & not very much in the mood for doing anything. So my visit to Mairi was so worthwhile. I think I have one more visit to her to complete the course. So I would like to say a big thanks to her, for putting me on the right path.
