My visit started at 11.50 hrs.
Receptionist ...was very pleasant and efficient.
My waiting time was 20 mins
The Doctor in Triage was very thorough in asking good relevant questions. eg How my ankle was first injured. Had I had any related problems before. Was I on any medication.
Allergic to anything? Listened to me intently. Felt my Left foot and ankle for pain areas. Sent me to have an xray.
The person in Xray dept was also very efficient and pleasant. Xraying took less than 10 mins and back to wait results.
Waited 10 mins for xray results to be viewed and original Dr. gave me the results. The doctor explained clearly and precisely what i should do for a couple of weeks. R and R with light leg exercises to keep mobility good and only weight bear when I felt able.Should i have an ongoing problem inform my own Dr.
I left A and E approximately 13.15 hrs.
This is not the first time I have visited NMGH and each time I have been met with pleasant caring staff, efficient and sympathetic.
Please pass on on my thanks to everyone concerned, even those in the background who don,t often receive the thanks they deserve.
Many thanks once again,
Ian Ogden
