"Surgical day unit"

I attended for surgery this morning nothing major, the cleanliness of the ward was excellent, both the surgeon and anaesthetist both cane round to speak to me before hand to go over things and to see if I had any questions the explained everything which left me with no questions to ask I was then taken down to theatre by one of the theatre nurses who was fantastic chatted away to me all the way through made me feel so at ease next thing I’m waking up and taken back to the ward every member of staff I encountered today had so much time for me the bedside manner was fantastic they took a real interest in what I had to say brought me a coffee etc the guys a met today are definitely in the right career the nhs often gets bad press but I couldn’t fault my short stay
