"Radioiodine"

About: Mount Vernon Hospital Site / Ear, Nose and Throat

I had the minimum dose of Radioiodine, 1.1.

Taking the pill was like taking an aspirin, no problem and in my case had no side effects, I wouldn't have known I'd had anything, so the only thing to fight is boredom but I was organised and the room had a few books and although I had other stuff I read one of the books that I found in the room.

The room had everything you would need; water, a fridge, TV. I was only in for 30 hours so easy.

The 'Nuclear Team were the best.

Very thoughtful, very friendly, and if anything over-helpful.

So if you are have this treatment no worries whatsoever.
