I felt that I was in and out as quick as possible.
I did faint after the procedure and was left to come round in my room until I felt better.
The nurse who found me on the floor was very nice.
I did note however, that my discharge notes said I had been discharged over an hour before I actually left so that added to my concerns.
Also they were quick to get me out of theatre and forgot to give me the information leaflets I needed.
This happened on 5th September. Biopsies were taken (18 days ago) but I'm still waiting for results.
I Phoned for them and the secretary said "oh they're not in until Friday.
I'll give the consultant your notes and ask them to phone you"
I am still waiting.
I wonder if its because I am an NHS patient?
My initial consultation was cancelled while I was sat in the waiting room in Dewsbury for 20 minutes after my appointment time.
The receptionist said "Sorry Dr xxx is held up in Elland.
I'm afraid that's what you get with the NHS.
We will contact you for another appointment"
They didn't, I chased it up.
"18 days and still waiting for results"
