Consultant in rheumatology clinic was concerned my elderly mother may have a chest infection or worse.
Given the late time of day, about 5pm, they sent her down to A&E .
Triage nurse was extremely rude showing total lack of courtesy or compassion. Mother felt as she was being reprimanded for not going to GP and was extremely distressed.
