The people running the course were passionate about what they were doing and were truly inspirational. thank you. the course needed to be longer with less information packed into each session. When you are depressed/anxious it is hard to take in so much information in one session, everything takes longer, I feel I need to do the course again to consolidate what I learnt and to take in what I missed or didn't take in. I realise it means people committing to longer but this is how I think it would be better.
Also at first session an 'ice-breaker' would be good. Perhaps encouraging everyone present to just say something, even speaking out can be difficult at first. I know that might not be for everyone but maybe people could opt out if they preferred.
some participants used a lot of time talking about one personal problem, I know people can speak out but I think sometimes this went on for too long and needed to be cut short because it meant some of the important messages from the people delivering had to be rushed. Sitting in the ea room before sessions was a good idea as it gave people time to share personal experiences. The course was helpful, but I needed more time.
"Helpful course, but needed more time"
