What I liked

Very pleasant staff, professional and slick on arrival to ward and before operation.

What could be improved

Went down for operation, came round in recovery & taken back to ward to be told I hadn't had operation wrong diagnosis. Booked in verbally for September, three weeks to go and had no written confirmation so I had to phone. Have operation in two weeks time but have had no appointment for pre op.

Admin side could be improved as this is making me stressful

Anything else?

My op. was at 8.30am husband was told to phone arround 11.00 he phoned at 11.30 and told I was still in theatre, which really shocked him as he thought something had gone wrong!! I was actually back in ward at 10.04.

Communication should be accurate.
