About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) / Accident and emergency

No interest in the person as a human being at all. Had to wait 5.5 hours before being sent home without even any advise not saying treatment. Left with the same pain and symptoms i came. Blood tests and x-ray were good, but i wasn't!

Extremely disappointed, i lost a whole day at work to be seen by a doctor for a few minutes, which did not even bother to explain me the reason i was so unwell.

Have no words just emotions! Shame !

Dear Oxana,

Thank you for your recent comment. Please accept our apologies for the long wait in the Emergency Department.

Unfortunately, the department has seen an increase in attendances recently and whilst we strive to assess all patients within the 4 hour target, this is not always possible.

On departure, you should have been given a discharge summary with advice and diagnosis.

Please contact the department if this is not the case and a copy will be sent to you.

Alternatively if you need to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service; pals@stgeorges.nhs.uk we will be happy to assist you.

Kind Regards

Elaine Bucknor

Patient Advice and Liaison Service Manager
