"Much more able to cope"

About: Ealing IAPT

(as a service user),

A few weeks ago I was very depressed and was not coping. My G. P. suggested IAPT. I went and was very pleased I did. I saw Thomas and I am so thankful to him. On the first couple of visits I was a mess and spent most of the time in tears I was all over the place with my issues and Tom listened to me. I felt myself improving after each session because of Toms Listening skill.

I am so grateful to Tom and after 6 meetings I felt so much more able to cope.

Dear "Bumbles"

I was pleased to hear that following 6 sessions with Thomas you have made progress and feeling better. I'm very grateful that you took the time to share this positive experience with the service. Personal stories like yours are really helpful for others to see that it is possible to go from "mess" and "tearful" to coping, in a relatively short space of time with a little bit of help.

I will make sure to let Thomas know of your kind feedback.

On behalf of all of us at Ealing IAPT, we hope you go from strength to strength.

Best wishes

Dr Louise De Haro
