"Brilliant"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

From initial referral by the GP I had two investigations, an unscheduled CT Scan, an appointment with the consultant and just 7 weeks later underwent surgery.

Further consultations followed and I started a course of Chemo 4 weeks later.

During the chemo I had two consultations and attended the Chemo suite every three weeks.

Everyone was always polite, cheerful and very positive.

From consultations, operation, HDU staff, through further consultations and the chemo I think I must have been treated by over 50 staff at all grades.

The food I was served post-op was very good would that I could have enjoyed it more.

I can also recommend the main restaurant.

Good food at good prices.

Dear Anonymous

Sorry for the delay in responding and thank you so much for the fabulous feedback.

It sounds like you have had quite a number of appointments with us over the last few weeks and I’m so pleased that all aspects of your care were positive.

It can be a really rapid process through a diagnosis and treatment pathway, so I hope that by the time you met Mandy and her team in the Chemo suite you had an opportunity for some rest!

I will pass on your kind words to the teams involved and on behalf of them may I wish you well.

Best wishes

Sarah Ward
