"Excellent Care"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary / General surgery

I went into hospital for day surgery on my shoulder at Pontefract hospital on the 17th September under the care of the surgeon.

From the moment I arrive until discharge the care I received was second to none.

My concerns over my care were addressed and implemented meaning my recovery from the anaesthetic was minimal. The nurse who looked after me throughout my stay was lovely and a credit to their profession. I felt I had to leave a comment as the NHS always get negative press but you never seem to read the positive.

So thank you to all the staff involved both pre and post surgery, I cannot thank you enough for your level of professionalism and care I reviewed that day.
