"Disgusting treatment by Doctors outside of a&e"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Neurology

My gather collapsed on the 19th August and taken to the QMC. Could not fault initial dealings at a&e. He has subsequently been moved to 3 wards and due to his age he and the family have been treated with contempt. The Doctors do not care. The Neuro Dr was rude to patient staff and family. Raise a concern and they promise to keep you updated but ignore you afterwards. Had physio on 4 occasions and then fell so that qualifies you for no more physio.

A disgusting way to treat patients and staff. Clearly the caring has gone out of the proffession. Needs massive wholesale reform.

Hello Mark, I’m very sorry to hear that you have concerns regarding your father’s care and that you found staff to be rude. We expect all patients and visitors to be treated with care and respect and are sorry if you felt that was not the case. Would you be able to contact our patient experience team so they can look into these concerns for you? They can be reached on 0115 924 9924 ext. 66623 or QMCPET@nuh.nhs.uk.

My apologies once again,

Adam Brooks.

Divisional Director, Surgery.
