"One year after initial appointment and no..."

In October 2016, had an appointment at the Beverley hospital with the neurologist and was told I would be called back in 6 months. A year later and nothing has happened. Rang up in April and was told I was on the list. Went back to my own GP in July and was told there was nothing they could do as I was already under a consultant. My symptoms are getting worse, I have no diagnosis, and my daily life is affected, due to my mobility being affected. I just want to know what is wrong and what can be done.
