"I encountered countless amazing staff"

I've had both my babies at Oldham hospital and both times I have been made to feel extremely supported. I have an extreme phobia of hospitals and procedures therefore I was terrified to have to attend pre natal appointments and ultimately to have to go through childbirth.

On both occasions I encountered countless amazing staff... from midwives who made allowances for my anxiety and who showed unwavering patience with me to anaesthetists who reassured and calmed me and even cleaners who sat with me and tried to talk me down mid panic attack. Considering how understaffed and stretched the NHS is, I cannot praise the staff in this hospital enough for making both my experiences as stress free and supportive as possible.
