"Fantastic Support from Midwives!"

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital / Maternity

I gave birth to son number two recently and due to complications stayed on the Edith Dare Ward for ten days. We were moved from a ward to a private room after two days and the care and support I received from the midwives was simply fantastic!

Each and every midwife went above and beyond the call of duty and treated me with respect, kindness and dignity. In particular, two stood out for their humour and compassion when it was needed as I had a few dark days of feeling down and unwell. I have nothing but thanks and kind words for all the staff in the this ward and they all deserve a medal!
