"Wonderful birthing experience"

I had both my children in the stepping hill birth centre. My second on Monday 11th September 2017. I couldn't recommend the centre and staff enough. I practiced hypnobirthing before each birth. Last Monday I called the centre at 6am and was advised to come in due to the regularity of my contractions. When I arrived the centre was quiet and peaceful and the pool was already running. I was checked in and went to our room. The rooms are great with everything I needed in one place. I was contracting too frequently to be comfortable being examined and the staff were relaxed about this and helped me into the pool. Everyone was calm and friendly. I gave birth to my son an hour later. We remained in our own room for the rest of the day whilst all checks and paperwork were done. We were given plenty of food and cups of tea and left happily that evening. I love the birth centre and its staff - like a reassuring home from home and soul recommend it to any mums to be.
